[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Little Mitzi is a wonderful dog for adults. She hasn't been around children. She has lived with two other dogs off and on her entire life. She is house trained, obedient, affectionate and happy. She has experienced once-a-month seizures for a few years. While she has been prescribed medication, her owner does not feel it helps the once a month seizures. Her activity level is normal for a 6 yr old JRT. She needs a home where she can be the only dog, or at least only ONE other dog.

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Cooper is a great family dog and has been with his current family for 4 years. He was a year old when they adopted him, and other than a missing tail (which was run over when he was a puppy), he was a normal, happy and friendly dog. His family got him when they lived in the country, hoping he would scare off predators, offering some protection while on walks and to the cats. He did a fabulous job and received lots of attention and yummy dog food/treats. Everyone was happy. But his family moved to town, then had a 2nd child and has had to adjust to a single income. Now Cooper is confined to a fenced area and his 'mom' is too occupied ... (Read More)with the human kids to spend anytime with him and he no longer gets yummy dog food/treats. Cooper has begun to bark and whine constantly to express his sadness that he is always ignored and rarely gets to run anymore. His current owners are apprehensive and worry about his wellbeing should he be taken from his family of 4 years, but they are also worried over his wellbeing if things continue as they have. They hope to find Cooper a country home where he can roam and run outside freely. They picture him as being a perfect companion for a child/adult who loves dogs and will want to include him in family trips and such. Cooper has so much love to offer. He isn't skittish or snappy. He has udergone all sorts of annoying treatment from young kids with surprising patience. Cooper does have seizures. He began getting them about 2 years ago, but his family has already found a medication with no noticeable side effects that greatly reduces his amount of seizures. They come 1-2 times a month and are very manageable and he is up and walking within 15 minutes from the onset. A years worth (maybe more) of his meds will be supplied. Honestly, if his current family knew they would be moving back to the country they would keep him and hope that eventually their 4 year old boy would gain more interest in and pay attention to Cooper. But Cooper has been brushed off for over a year now. He deserves a family that will provide him with daily attention and excercise. He really is such a loving and happy dog. (Less)
